Minutes of the Governing Board

Minutes of the Arvin Union School District Board of Trustees Special Meeting held on September 13, 2005.

The meeting was called to order by Mr. Tim Owens at 5:00 p.m.	Call to Order

Members Present: Mr. Tim Owens, President Mrs. Joycene Tarver Mr. Angel Sumaya Mr. William Stoner, Clerk Mr. Fausto Sanchez	Roll Call

Members Absent:

Staff Present: Mr. Kenneth R. Bergevin, Superintendent Mrs. Jerelle D. Kavanagh, Assistant Superintendent Mrs. Debbie L. Hearron, District Secretary	Staff Present

Others Present: None	Others

Mr. Bergevin led the Pledge of Allegiance.	Pledge of Allegiance

Mr. Bergevin advised the Board there were no changes to the agenda.	Adoption of Agenda

Mr. Bergevin provided each Board member a copy of an Executive Summary of the 2004-05 Unaudited Actuals and Impact on the 2005-06 Budget. Mr. Bergevin explained it is required by Education Code that the unaudited actual expenditures for the previous school year be board approved no later than September 15 of each year. After a brief discussion the following action was taken.

On motion of Mr. Stoner, seconded by Mrs. Tarver, the board unanimously approved the Unaudited Actuals as of June 30, 2005.	04/05 Unaudited Actuals

On motion of Mr. Sumaya, seconded by Mr. Stoner, the board unanimously adjourned the meeting at 5:22 p.m.	Adjournment
