On motion of
Mr. Sumaya, seconded by Mr. Owens, the board unanimously approved to accept
the resignation of District Superintendent effective June 30, 2007. |
Superintendent’s Resignation |

|
|
Mrs. Roberts, representing the ATA Executive
Board and members, requested permission to address to the board regarding the
resignation of the district superintendent.
Mrs. Robert read a letter extending their sadness upon hearing a resignation
had been submitted and requested that the board would consider the
possibility of bringing in an impartial interim superintendent with no
history or interest in the district while going through the selection process
of AUSD next superintendent. |

On motion of Mr. Owens, seconded by Mrs. Tarver, the board
unanimously approved Resolution #19:2006/2007 – Establishment of a School
Facilities Fund per Education Code Section 170070.43 |

On motion of Mr. Owens, seconded by Mrs. Tarver,
the board unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 4:40 p.m. |
