board consented to table items 4.2.1, 4.2.2, 4.2.3 until further review. 4.2.1 Consider to approve the reclassification of
the job description for Middle School Library Clerk. 4.2.2 Consider to approve the job description for
Delivery Clerk. 4.2.3 Consider to approve the reclassification of
the job description for Cafeteria Clerk to Assistant Food Services Director. |

On motion of Mrs. Tarver, and seconded by Mr. Sumaya with Mr. Owens
opposing the board voted to table item 4.3.1 – Consider to approve the
reclassification of the job description for District/Cafeteria Secretary to
Assistant to the Superintendent, until further notice to at which time all
district office positions would be reviewed. |

On motion of Mr. Owens, seconded by Mr. Sumaya, the board unanimously
approved the AT&T Lease agreement for data service for El Camino Real
Elementary School. |

The board went into closed session at 6:41 p.m. Discussion was conducted with Kern County
Superintendent of School consultant Mr. Bud Burrow to consider hiring or
appointment of interim superintendent.

Upon reconvening at 7:24 p.m. the following vote was taken. On motion of Mr. Sumaya, seconded by Mrs. Tarver, the board
unanimously approved the appointment of Mrs. Jerelle Kavanagh as Chief
Administrative Officer during June 6, 2007 through June 30, 2007 on July 1, 2007
Mrs. Kavanagh would then become the interim Superintendent during the
Superintendent search process. |

adjourn the meeting at 7:26 p.m. |
