Mrs.
Kavanagh provided copies to the board of the AB1200 – Disclosure of Collective
Bargaining Agreement for the Arvin Teachers Association and reviewed the
content of the document. She explained the AB1200 had been reviewed by
the Administration and Finance
Services of the Kern County Superintendent of Schools Office and a response had
been received from Mr. Fulmer’s office. |

public hearing was opened at 5:34 p.m. to allow for public response to the
Disclosure of Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Arvin Union School District
and the Arvin Teachers Association. No Response, hearing closed at 5:35 p.m. |

Mrs.
Kavanagh read the response from Mr. Fulmer’s office and explained proposed
changes in the district’s expenditure plans that led to a discussion
regarding the impact the proposed agreement would have on the district. However, the county recognized that the
district has proposed expenditure changes and if fully adopted and
implemented, would support the proposed settlement. |

motion of Mr. Owens, seconded by Mrs. Tarver, the board unanimously approved
the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Arvin Union School District
and the Arvin Teachers Association effective July 1, 2007 for a
one and one-half percent (1-1/2%), retroactive to July 1, 2007 and a one
time, off schedule payment of one and one-half percent (1-1/2%) of the
2006/2007 salary schedule and maintenance of Health and Welfare benefits. |

the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Arvin Union School District
and the Classified Employees Association effective July 1, 2007 for a one and one-half percent
(1-1/2%), retroactive to July 1, 2007 and a one time, off schedule payment of
one and one-half percent (1-1/2%) of the 2006/2007 salary schedule and
maintenance of Health and Welfare benefits. |

maintenance of Health and Welfare benefits. |

one and one-half percent (1-1/2%) of the 2006/2007 salary schedule and
maintenance of Health and Welfare benefits. |

maintenance of Health and Welfare benefits. |
