motion of Mr. Owens, seconded by Mr. Sumaya, the board unanimously approved
Mrs. Sylvia Treanor as Labor Negotiator to represent the Arvin Union School
District Board of Trustees. |

The
board went into closed session at 5:04 p.m.
After reconvening at 6:00 p.m. the following action was taken. On
motion of Mr. Sumaya, seconded by Mrs. Tarver, the board unanimously approved
Mrs. Jerelle Kavanagh as the Superintendent of the Arvin Union School
District. |

On
motion of Mr. Owens, seconded by Mr. Sumaya, the board unanimously ratified a
contract for Mrs. Kavanagh’s employment as District Superintendent through
June 30, 2009. |

the board unanimously adjourned the meeting at 6:03 p.m. |
