E-rate Detail for Year 2008 (Year 11) RFP as posted for bid in the Bakersfield Californian and online at http://www.arvinschools.com/districtpages.aspx :
1) All analog and digital phone service as exists now district –wide (includes POT, local toll, T1 lines, 1 mgb lines, DS3 Channel, DS3 port, long distance and Centrex). In addition to the 1 gigabit line between 341 Haven Drive, Arvin CA 93203, and 1501 Hood Street, Arvin, CA 93203, we are requesting an additional line (1) between 341 Haven Drive, Arvin CA, and 911 El Camino Real, Arvin CA 93203 (includes installation). Multi-year contracts are sought.

2) Internet Service- Internet service is request at up to DS3 limits or less of 45 mgbps. Equipment for same is already in place. 1 DSL service. Multi-year contracts are sought.

3) Network Maintenance- Network maintenance for all eligible network equipment for 20 hours per month. Response time for maintenance must be within 1 hour. Contract may include non-E-rate maintenance paid for by district separately from E-rate funding. Multi-year contracts are sought.

4) Cellular service for forty-seven (47) accounts/numbers with minutes in a pooled minute plan. Phones have been purchased or will be purchased separately. Vendors are required to provide a demonstration model phone with service for a period of three-five days for personnel to check cellular coverage.

NOTE!! For telecommunication services, the vendor must be a CPUC certified provider.
