About Our School
El Camino Real opened its doors for the first time on August 13, 2007. At that time the ECR staff developed a mission statement which we strive to achieve each and every day. It is our mission to:
Educate and inspire using every available resource . . . Communicate with sincerity, respect, and kindness . . . and
Realize each individual’s potential impact on the future.
Grade level achievement is our goal. Students are placed in targeted classes throughout the day to address core standards or to provide intervention support in language arts or math. There is rarely a day you won't see students in various after school programs or working with their teachers to master skills needed for their grade level achievement. This continues into the weekend as groups of students are provided an environment in which they can practice needed skills.
As we focus on academic achievement, the extra-curricular activities on campus seem to be even more enjoyable than in the past. This year the Halloween Parade, Jump for Heart, and Read Across America Day have been highlights. We invite you to join us here at ECR!
