About Arvin
Arvin is located 18 miles southeast of Bakersfield, near the
base of Bear Mountain. We are located about 100 miles north of Los
Angeles. The main industry in and around Arvin is agriculture, as it is
for many of the smaller sized towns in the southern San Joaquin Valley
of California. Arvin has a very fast growing population and size in
terms of area, with an approximate population of around 12,500. Arvin is
located about two hours from the Pacific Ocean, two hours from the
Sierra Nevada Mountains, and about two hours from Los Angeles.
